Ukraine’s largest job search website Work.ua has announced that it is no longer working with companies that have not yet left the Russian market. These are major global players and employers such as Nestlé, Unilever, Yves Rocher, Raiffeisen Bank and Pepsico.
Work.ua is Ukraine’s largest job search portal. It currently offers over 92 thousand job offers. In a statement published on Thursday, the website blamed the big international players for their attitudes. They don’t want to. Money is more valuable to them than human lives,” the site’s statement reads.

Work.ua has terminated contracts with all companies that have not left the Russian market, while calling on people and other companies to refuse any cooperation with these brands.

These are big global players operating in our country as well. Unilever, which includes brands such as Cif, Domestos, Dove, Rexona, Raiffeisen Bank, the food company Nestlé, which operates the well-known brands KitKat, Nesquik, Maggi in Ukraine, Pepsico, which includes Pepsi, 7Up, Mirinda, Sandora, Lipton, popular juices in Ukraine, and last but not least, Mondelēz, which represents Milka, Oreo, Tuc and others.

For example, Mondeléz published a statement on its website in June this year on the war in Ukraine, saying that it condemns the aggression against Ukraine and supports Ukrainian citizens and refugees through its foundation. It defends its stay on the Russian market by saying that ordinary people in Russia also need its products.

The Ukrainian authorities have maintained an extensive list of “war sponsors” since the beginning of the war. The Ukrainian Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NACP) has already included 24,000 individuals and legal entities on this list.

“Every foreign company that continues to work in the Russian Federation sponsors the murder of Ukrainians. The NACP identifies those involved in the Russian war since the first days of the war at the suggestion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We have created the largest database of people involved in war in the world. It includes 24,000 individuals and legal entities. The largest number of persons and entities in world history have been sanctioned in Ukraine as a result of the operation of this base,” Oleksandr Novikov, head of the NACP, said this spring.
