Apple’s new iMac is almost sold out before Christmas, what you need to know about this blockbuster new release!

Apple recently launched a new iMac with a more powerful M3 processor. The popularity of this product is so high that many stores are completely sold out. Although most retailers are reporting empty stock and uncertain delivery times, Apple says it will be able to fill all orders by early December at the latest. Thus, the expected interest from those who would like a new iMac as a Christmas present may still make it.

The new iMac presents several color options and configurations, but upon closer examination of the specifications, the differences are apparent. For example, the base version starts from £37,990, but offers an octa-core graphics core instead of a ten-core one, and lacks some ports such as two USB 3 and gigabit Ethernet.

The different colour options are tied to the more expensive models, which range in price from 45 990 Kč to 51 990 Kč. When adding more RAM and storage, the price can climb to over CZK 80,000. Compared to the 2021 model, the prices of the basic kits have increased by two thousand crowns, which is expected given the significant improvement in performance.

The centrepiece of the new iMac lineup is Apple’s M3 octa-core processor, which delivers significantly higher performance compared to the older M1 chip. The manufacturer also offers more advanced M3 Pro and M3 Max variants, but these are not currently available for iMac. The Magic Keyboard comes in the same colours as the computer itself, with the more expensive versions featuring a keyboard with a Touch ID fingerprint reader. Apple iMac stays true to the concept of an all-in-one system that integrates all key components into the monitor. Although extremely thin, its full computing functionality is not apparent at first glance, building on the design of the previous 2021 model.
