And it can help with research, soon to help with dinner reservations. Bing Chat will eventually be able to respond not only by text, but also with images and videos. Microsoft also announced that the program will support the use of plugins.

The AI-powered program from OpenAI has the potential to change the way people search for information on the internet, according to Microsoft. The ability to try out Bing Chat, which the company launched earlier this year, has been severely limited until now. But that’s no longer the case. The company has now made the software available to everyone, plus announced other improvements.

Microsoft has made its Bing Chat robot available to all users. The only requirement is to have an account with the company. Then all you have to do is log in to Edge or the Bing app and you’ll get access to a test version of the program. Microsoft has also announced various enhancements to the service, including support for plugins, additional features from third parties. These have been supported by OpenAI’s ChatGPT since the end of March.

Other new features are said to include the program’s ability to reply not only in text form, but also in image or video form. According to The Verge, Microsoft is working with Wolfram Research’s Wolfram Alpha program and US restaurant reservation service OpenTable on the response visualization capabilities, with which it plans to add the ability to make reservations directly from the program to Bing Chat’s artificial intelligence.

Microsoft came out with the software earlier this year. At first, access was limited by a waiting list, and the company gradually expanded it. According to Dima Turchyn, Microsoft’s director of artificial intelligence products for Central Europe, programs like Bing Chat or OpenAI’s ChatGPT are likely to significantly change the digital advertising market. Microsoft integrated advertising into its program in late March 2023.
