Kiwi.com loses money again – losses approach a quarter of a billion crowns!

Kiwi.com, a well-known seller of airline tickets and travel packages, once again posted a loss last year. According to published financial results, the company recorded a loss of nearly CZK 247 million, which is a significant decline compared to previous years, when the company managed to turn a profit.
Although Kiwi.com’s revenues grew to more than CZK 16 billion, which is an increase of several billion year-on-year, rising costs and investments in platform development led to a negative result. The main expenses included marketing campaigns, technological innovations, and the expansion of services.
Nevertheless, the company reports that the number of tickets sold and customers has increased significantly. The company’s management believes that investments in technology and customer support will pay off in the future and lead to long-term growth. Kiwi.com is also continuing its expansion into new markets and plans to introduce additional features to make it easier for travelers to plan and purchase tickets.
According to the company, the current loss is more a result of strategic decisions and expansion plans than a sign of declining customer interest. Kiwi.com therefore expects its financial results to stabilize in the coming years and the company to return to profitability.
