Robe Lighting, based in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, has recently made a strategic move into the professional lighting market by acquiring Australian company LSC Control Systems. This acquisition is an important step in Robe Lighting’s efforts to strengthen its position as a major player in the world of professional lighting.

LSC Control Systems, based in Melbourne, is a long-established company that specialises in the development and supply of high-end control systems, lighting power and data management for a wide range of applications including theme parks, opera houses, theatres and television studios. Their technology has proven itself over the years and has gained respect in the industry.

So why did Robe Lighting, already a successful company with steady profits, decide to make this acquisition? According to Josef Valchář, co-owner of Robe Lighting, who together with Ladislav Petřek owns the company, the integration of LSC Control Systems into the company’s portfolio was a logical step. After the acquisition of London-based controls manufacturer Avolites last year, they saw the merger with the Australian company as a strategic advantage. The acquisition allows them to offer a wider range of products and services to their customers, thereby strengthening their position in the market.

Robe Lighting is not a newcomer to the market. Since its establishment in 1994, it has built a strong presence in more than 100 countries around the world. Their lighting systems have become the standard for many industry professionals and their name is associated with innovation and high quality. The company continually strives to invest in research and development to keep their products at the cutting edge.

So what does this acquisition mean for the future of both companies? For LSC Control Systems, it represents an opportunity to expand its market opportunities and gain access to new customers through the strength and scale of Robe Lighting. For Robe Lighting, it means strengthening their portfolio of products and services, allowing them to better compete in the market and strengthen their position as one of the leading companies in the world of professional lighting.
