The anticipated cage match between two of the world’s most prominent tech billionaires, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, will be streamed live on social network X, formerly known as Twitter. Elon Musk said this in his post.

The two tycoons arranged a cage match over the internet in June. The venue is to be the Octagon in Las Vegas, where mixed martial arts (MMA) championship fights are held. It is not clear when the fight will take place.

“Zuck vs. Musk” will be broadcast live on X. All proceeds will go to a veterans’ charity,” the social network’s chief executive Elon Musk said in a post. However, he did not disclose further details. Mark Zuckerberg has previously accepted Musk’s challenge.

Thirty-nine-year-old Zuckerberg has long trained in martial arts and has won amateur tournaments in the Brazilian martial sport of jiu-jitsu. Musk, 53, has previously said he almost never exercises, except to lift and throw his children in the air.

On X on Sunday, he said he works out with weights all day to prepare for a fight, adding that he doesn’t have time to work out, so he brings his weights to work. When asked by an X user about the point of such a fight, Musk replied, “It’s a civilized form of warfare. Men love war.”
